Don’t worry though, we have you covered for all you party needs. Focus on acing your finals and we’ll help handle the rest. We have found plenty of tips to make the event unforgettable, as well as step by step instructions to planning the big celebration.

Step 1: Set the Date, Finalize the Guest list, and Send the Invites

Pick a date that works best for you, keeping in mind who you are inviting. If you want family to travel for the occasion, pick a Saturday or Sunday so they have time to make the trip. Also try too keep in mind that many other people are graduating with you, so pick a date a friend has not claimed yet. Once that is done, send the invitations where it be an evite or mailed out copy! Great places to go for mailed invites are Staples, Walmart, Kramer Drive Paper and Design, Minuteman Press, or Paper Source.

 Step 2: Make Reservations

Once you know how many people will be attending, make the reservations! Whether is a hall to have people at, or tables and tents to have people at your home setting the plans in stone is the next step. Don’t forget about the food either! Tasty Table Catering has a great menu for you! Whether you are planning a barbecue and want food like hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken to grill or finger foods like caprese salad skewers or pizza roll ups to snack on, we have you covered!

 Step 3: Begin the Set-up

If you are having the party at home, set up is very important. You will need those tent and tables to be up, as well as decorations and plan for music. Having a photo booth is a great and fun way to remember the party while having an amazing time. Planning a party doesn’t have to be stressful, its all about the preparation.

 Step 4: Day of Tasks

One the day of, it’s time for the last minute tasks. Make sure the bathrooms are stocked with whatever they need for starters. Also, have a designated area ready to put gifts when guests arrive. Tie balloons in front of the house so people from far away can find it, but most of all just greet your guests and have fun celebrating!

 Step 5: After the party

After the party, all that is left is to clean up, send out thank you cards, and unwind. You have a new graduate with you, and it’s time to enjoy some relaxing time with them before work in the real world starts.
