We recognize that hospital heroes are working around the clock in the fight against COVID-19 and they deserve a tasty, nutritious meal. They are sacrificing so much as they work tirelessly on the frontline.
We are ready to serve area hospital staff and their families with comforting and nourishing meals, but we need your help! We are launching this campaign with the initial goal of raising $1,000 which will get Individual Box Meals into the hands of the Nurses on the frontline at the University of Pennsylvania Hospitals and Main Line Health Hospitals.
We will deliver these meals to the hospitals and each nurse so they can eat them at work or they can take them home to quickly heat and eat later.
Your donations will help feed these selfless frontline workers in our area!
Our goal each week is to stop by the following hospitals just prior to the end of shift for staff to take home:
MAIN LINE HOSPITALS
Bryn Mawr Hospital
Chester County Hospital
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
We are blown away by the amount of support and outpouring of love we’ve received since launching our Feed the Mainline Frontline fundraiser. We’re proud to announce that we not only met the goal, we’ve exceeded it. And now… we’ve raised the goal to help feed even more nurses who are working so hard on the frontline fight against COVID-19 in the Main Line area.
Just last week we delivered over 50 individual box lunches to Paoli Hospital and Chester County Hospital. The lunch included one of our most favorite sandwiches – “The Chicken Pickle” on Brioche – and boy did Jan and George get a big THANK YOU! It was a full box meal including chips, fresh fruit salad, homemade dessert, and bottled water.
With your continued generous donations, we will be delivering even more food (at least 200 lunches) this week to Lankenau Hospital and the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania.
Please consider donating what you can to the GoFundMe fundraiser to make sure these healthcare heroes on the Main Line are fed. Lastly, we’d appreciate if you could post and share it on your social media pages. Please help get the word out about feeding the hospital workers.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
